Our bus tour of Nuremberg began by taking us to the Nazi party rally grounds. Six Nazi party rallies were held there between 1933 and 1938. The Deutsches Stadion or German Stadium (Top Left, Top Right and Bottom Left) was to be the world's largest stadium. It would have offered 400,000 seats in the shape of a horseshoe but was never completed. Nuremburg, Germany

The Zeppelin Field is located east of the Great Road. It consists of a large grandstand that could accommodate up to 100,000 people with a width of 390 yards and a smaller stand. The grandstand is famous as the building that had the swastika blown from atop it in 1945, after Germany's fall in World War II by the US Army. Nuremburg, Germany

20 Burgstraße Nuremberg, Bavaria is the house in the middle with the unique window on the top. It is the only house on this street to remaining standing after a bombing during World War II.
